Paroles Paroles is one of the most original and talked-about restaurant concepts in Ostend, opened in the summer of 2023 in the vibrant new SKY DISTRICT, just fifty metres from the Ostend railway station. In the space of barely one year, the restaurant was honoured twice by Gault&Millau: awarded a score of 12.5/20 and named HIP of the Year Flanders 2025 — a distinction celebrating the most exciting and accessible new gastronomic concepts in Belgium. Inspired by the lively bar atmosphere of Barcelona, Berlin, and Paris, Paroles Paroles presents a contemporary sharing menu with cosmopolitan influences, designed around starters and small plates that invite guests to compose their own ideal meal. Chef Terence McGarrity’s dishes emerge directly from the open kitchen in a warm, social flow: colourful, flavourful, and carefully conceived to reward sharing and spontaneity. Bartender Matthew presides over a selection of refined wines and inventive cocktails that are an integral part of the experience, with cocktail pairings available for the full menu. The restaurant’s convivial atmosphere, welcoming to all ages and backgrounds, and its distinctive position between high gastronomy and accessible dining make it a unique address in the Ostend scene. The restaurant retained its Gault&Millau recognition in 2026. Open Tuesday through Sunday.
