Splish Splash

Splish Splash is New York’s largest waterpark, located on 96 acres in Calverton on Long Island, approximately 60 miles east of New York City. Now in its 35th season, the park continues to expand with new additions including Stingray Bay, a 15-element interactive kids’ playground, and the park’s first-ever Neon Nights nighttime event running select Fridays and Saturdays in July and August. Attractions span every thrill level, from the high-speed Bombs Away drop slide and Bootlegger’s Run — New York’s only hydromagnetic water coaster — to the Kahuna Bay wave pool and a gently flowing lazy river. Kiddie Cove and Pirate’s Cove offer themed zones for younger children with slides and splash features. Two new luxury cabanas, Paradise Pavilion and Hang Ten Hideaway, debuted in 2025 near the wave pool. The park became the first waterpark in North America to join the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme in 2025, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive experiences. Open seasonally from late May through September, Splish Splash has a confirmed 2026 opening date of May 23. Tickets are sold online and the official website is actively updated.
