uShaka Wet ‘n Wild

uShaka Wet ‘n Wild is the dedicated freshwater water park within the larger uShaka Marine World complex, situated on the Addington Beach waterfront in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Part of South Africa’s most iconic marine-themed entertainment destination, Wet ‘n Wild offers a distinct water park experience with a variety of slides, pools, and aquatic attractions suited to all age groups. The park includes high-speed kamikaze water slides, five-lane tube slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, multiple leisure pools, and a splash zone for younger visitors. It caters to both thrill seekers and families looking for a relaxed aquatic day out. Day tickets for Wet ‘n Wild are sold separately from Sea World at R192 for adults and R156 for children and seniors, and combination tickets with the aquarium are also available. The water park is open Wednesday to Sunday each week. Its beachfront setting within uShaka Marine World means visitors can also access the adjacent uShaka Beach, Village Walk dining and shopping precinct, Dangerous Creatures reptile exhibit, Chimp & Zee rope adventure park, and Sea World on separate admission. The park is particularly popular with families during South African school holidays.
