Yas Waterworld

Yas Waterworld is the region’s flagship water park, located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, adjacent to Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World. Themed around the original Emirati legend of The Lost Pearl, the park is set across approximately 15 hectares and offers an immersive cultural and aquatic experience that is unique in the Middle East. Following a major expansion completed in July 2025, the park now offers over 60 rides, slides, and attractions — up from its original 45 — making it one of the largest waterparks in the world. Highlights include Liwa Loop, the fastest ride in the park, Hamlool’s Humps, a multi-person hydro-coaster, and Jebel Drop, a near-vertical freefall experience. Dawwama is a tornado-style water coaster added during the 2025 expansion. The park also features a large wave pool, lazy rivers, the Yas Flowboarding course, which has hosted the World Flowboarding Championships since 2013, and the Marah Fortress children’s zone with water geysers, dumping buckets, and interactive play features. A cashless wristband system covers all food, retail, and locker transactions. Free Yas Express shuttle buses connect the park to hotels and other Yas Island attractions. The park is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
