Gumbuya World

Gumbuya World is a large-scale theme and water park located in Tynong North, Victoria, approximately 75 km east of Melbourne via the Monash Freeway. The park combines four distinct zones: Oasis Springs, the water park area; Oz Adventure, a rides and attractions zone; Outback Explorers, a zone for younger children; and the Wildlife Trail, which features over 52 species including kangaroos, koalas, and dingoes. The Oasis Springs waterpark zone includes eight water slides, a 300-metre lazy river, heated rock pools, the Typhoon Island interactive splash structure, and Surf’s Up, the state’s most impressive family wave pool. Cabanas are available to hire, and the park operates with heated pools for extended-season enjoyment. The newest thrill ride, Rebel, was added to complement existing roller coasters. The wildlife component offers daily ranger talks, animal feeding sessions, and close encounter bookings. Open seven days a week during peak summer season from late November to late February, with reduced operations in the off-season.
