McDonald Water Park

McDonald Water Park is a community-focused aquatic attraction located within the 17-acre McDonald Park at 7505 West 12th Avenue in Hialeah, Florida, part of the greater Miami metropolitan area. Operated by the City of Hialeah and open seasonally from March through October each year, the park provides an accessible and affordable water recreation option for local families and visitors alike. The water park features a wave pool, a 1,000-foot lazy river that winds through the park’s natural surroundings and passes beneath scenic waterfalls, an interactive water spray ground suitable for children, and a splash pad with water jets and fountains for toddlers and younger children. The surrounding McDonald Park offers additional outdoor amenities including a large lake, 10 reservable pavilions, lighted racquetball and tennis courts, a playground, and picnic areas, making it a comprehensive family outing destination. The park also provides swimming lessons through its Aquatic Center, including infant swim classes for children up to age 5. Funbrellas can be rented for private parties at the park.
