Founded by Busan-born Chef-Owner Sun Kim, who trained at Tetsuya in Sydney and Waku Ghin in Singapore, Meta earned its first Michelin star in 2017 and was elevated to two stars in 2024, marking a significant milestone in Singapore’s recognition of Korean fine dining. The restaurant, now located at 9 Mohamed Sultan Road, occupies a sleek space with black ceilings, concrete floors, and an open kitchen where twelve courses are served from plush banquette seating.
